Pioneer Day is an annual heritage festival comprising of over 26 different events and organizations. This is a HUGE event, with a hard to quantify start and end... Typically we say that it "starts" with the parade on the Saturday closest to the 4th of July. Historically, this was an event to celebrate the vast melting pot of cultures and heritage that we have in Cle Elum – from the Slovik to the Italian, everyone came together on this day to celebrate together (regardless of status, culture, race, age...). This year, the parade will take place on Saturday, July 6, 2024.
